WA490/Televote  - Wake-up call generator / Telephone voting system (Swisscom-CH)

WA490 was introduced as an automatic wake-up call generator by Swisscom. WA490 is a distributed system which allows the subscriber to program single or repetitive wake-up calls with the telephone. The system is fully automatic and functions without operator interaction. Based on the WA490, a telephone voting system was developed as well.

PANEL - POTS & ISDN Passive Monitor (Telecom Italia-I)

PANEL monitors wired telephone lines and collects the traffic data records for statistical analysis. The statistical data elaborated is used for marketing analysis by the operator and subscribers being monitored. PANEL functions independently from all central office equipment.

BiVe - Billing Verification System (Vodafone-I)

BiVe automatically simulates real user behavior with the scope of verifying billing in GSM. Distributed Test Units perform the GSM services (calls, sending SMS, etc.). The resulting test data records are compared to the CDRs in order to verify the billing procedure.

SPM - SIM Profile Management System (Vodafone-I)

SPM enables the subscriber to define and download the operator specific SIM menu on the SIM, rendering easy the use of mobile operator’s new services. SPM manages the database, the downloads to the subscriber’s SIM and new possible configurations of the SIM menu.

SCE - Service Creation and Execution (Vodafone-I)

An Integration Management platform allowing on the fly new SMS service (PUSH and PULL) creation and its subsequent execution for the mobile telephony. It is the Vodafone’s Service Delivery Platform.

GoMobile - Mobility Portal (Swisscom-CH)

For the Swisscom’s Mobility Portal SunTiS developed the "Mail Client" (direct access to customer’s mailbox) and the "Message Gateway" (sending and reception of SMS, and e-mails).

FEBEKO - Feuer- und Bewegungs- Koordination: Management & Kontrollsystem (GR / Swiss Army)

The FEBEKO platform assures that the actions between the Swiss air defense and the Swiss air force are coordinated. Its goal is to impede the Swiss air defense to accidently shoot down own aircraft.

TELECONTROL – TV audience metering system (Telecontrol AG)

System used for monitoring TV channels for the purpose of metering the viewer preferences. A metering device is placed in line with a TV or VCR. Viewer’s choice of channel is recorded. A central unit collects all the data from the metering devices for further analysis.

PBMS / SAT – Mobile phone management (SBB – Swiss Railways)

SBB, the Swiss railway company has its own GSM-R network, used for internal service communication. PBMS / SAT allows SBB to remotely control certain aspects and data of the SIM card placed within the mobile phones and mobile devices used by the SBB field personnel.
